Hello and happy weekend!

I hope all of you are having a cool week. Since it's our three year anniversary, Mike and I are taking our one single Saturday with no big plans to do something fun. We are doing a "Mystery Picnic" in Elora. Basically...I know we are going to Elora. I know we are going to have a picnic. But that's all I know. The Mystery Picnic set up several clues for us to follow, each leading us to our next stop. Each stop we pick up goodies for our picnic (which were pre-purchased by the organizer) or stop at a neat landmark. After around 7 mystery stops, our final clue leads us to the picnic location where we will sit and enjoy all the goodies we collected! Sounds fun :) I shall let you all know how our adventure goes.

Last Saturday we had such a great time in Toronto. We caught a GO train from Clarkson to the Ex. Then we walked into Liberty Village for dinner. Originally we were going to try and eat at a local restaurant, but the line up was around the block even though it wasn't even 5:00 yet!!! It turns out, there were TWO concerts and an Argos game all happening at the same time in the vicinity, so everything was packed. So we wandered into a really lovely outdoor/kind of indoor area, and we all got different dinners and ate together at a picnic table ðŸ˜Š Not a moment too soon, because I was getting a little hangry...

We then walked to the Coca Cola Coliseum and the show was fantastic. It was boiling hot inside, but Lauren Daigle was dancing and jumping around the stage all night. I'd love some of that energy, am I right?? The scariest part was both concerts and the Argo's game ended at the same time, so there was a MASSIVE crowd all trying to get to the GO station and board the westbound train. Thankfully, we all got on and home safely. The kicker? My little brother just so happened to be on the same train (apparently, he went to the game) and got off at Clarkson at the same time as us, so I had the "honour" of having to drive him and his friends home. Whew. What a day.
