Love God // Love One Another

The Pastoral Care Team brings the love of Christ to our church and our community in many thoughtful and tangible ways.

The Pastoral Care Team and their volunteers:

  • visit or phone those who can’t come to church because of illness or other reasons

  • arrange transportation to church or other appontments

  • organize events to bolster our community from coffee mornings to prayer nights

  • give out care packages and reading material to support people experiencing loss and change

  • help set-up, cater, and clean-up after funerals and similar events

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Everybody loves a good party. Who says we’re the frozen chosen? Every year, The Pastoral Care Team organizes the:

  • Christmas Luncheon & Carol Sing

  • Soup Lunch and Movie Afternoons

  • Corn Roast

  • Joint EMCC Picnic/Barbecue

We confess that when an event occurs three times in a row, it becomes a tradition.

The Team also makes gifts for

  • Valentine’s Day

  • Easter

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas
