Mississauga Mayoral Elections on June 10th

On May 23rd Food Banks Mississauga hosted a mayoral candidates debate to address the critical issues of food insecurity, the homeless, affordable housing in our city.

A summary of the debate has been provided by Food Banks Mississauga in the following link.  We invite you to view this so you can be informed on the viewpoints of the candidates on the critical needs of the homeless and those who can’t afford housing, and experience food insecurity.

A reminder that Advance polls are running on Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the election following on June 10

Indwell Mississauga Update

On behalf of Indwell, extending a big thank you to all our churches here in Mississauga and surrounding area that are supporting Indwell through prayers, through donations, gift giving and in many other ways.  We are so grateful to be part of such an engaged community of caring together.

We are so thankful that by the end of the summer 2024 , we’ll be supporting people in over 108 homes here in Mississauga as we look forward to the Grand opening of our Cornerstone Suites building in Streetsville this summer!  We will be holding a combined Grand opening/ Hope & Homes 50th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, September 12th, 2024 so stay tuned for more details and invite to follow.

And we are so grateful to have secured a third site in Clarkson Village to build more hope and homes.

There is still time to join us for our Hamilton Gala as we come together to celebrate Indwell’s 50 years creating supportive, affordable communities. Attached is the invitation for the Gala taking place next week – Thursday, June 6.
