The Open Door
The Open Door is a Christian drop-in center inside Square One.
Many churches came together to create the Open Door in 1974 as an outreach ministry to the community of Mississauga.
Staff work with volunteers from the community and many Mississauga churches to improve the life situation of people who are going through difficult times.
Christmas 2024
We are collecting $25 to $50 Walmart gift cards.
These cards will be give families the dignity of shopping for groceries or Christmas gifts themselves.
Please drop your gift cards into the basket on the offering table.

On the first Thursday of every month we serve lunch at the Open Door.
Our volunteers bring in:
a hot homemade meal
drinks
dessert
which are served with a warm smile and a willing spirit to anyone who comes in.

The Open Door is appreciative of any donations. There is always a need for clothing and toiletry items. These can be dropped off at the church.
Our goal is to come alongside The Open Door to spread the love of Christ as we serve and connect with people in need.
