Music

Our services are liturgical with blended worship.

We sing contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns.

Celebration Choir

Twice a year, at:

  • Christmas

  • Easter

Graciela, our intrepid Music Director, will mould all willing singers into a traditional choir.

It’s a lot of fun.

Sing to the Lord; bless his name;
    tell of his salvation from day to day.

Psalm 96:2

Once a year, The Bag of Ham reunites for Songs and S’mores, our fundraiser for Campership.

Campership is a program which provides financial aid for children and youth to attend Christian summer camps.

The Bag of Ham performs the songs of their youth: Classic Rock ‘n Roll. Presbyterians have been seen dancing in the aisle.

But why is this band called The Bag of Ham?

It all began a long, long time ago (which is how all good Presbyterian stories start) during one of our Corn Roasts. At the end of the evening, ladies would bag up leftover corn and ham to sell. This talented (and unnamed) group of musicians was performing before an appreciative audience.

Lightning struck out of no where and the ladies calling out, “$5 for a bag of ham” while the band was playing became forever fused in our hearts and minds.

And that is how they became The Bag of Ham.

The truth is more pedantic. Chris S., the front man, named the group The Bag of Ham because he thought it was funny yet weirdly appropriate.
