Stained Glass Windows

Prayer

Donated by Maureen R. in honour of her dear friends, Al and Grace McClelland. The window is also dedicated to the R. family.

Maureen had promised Grace that she would donate a prayer window because they both agreed the church needed one.

Grace was a dynamo and a prayer warrior. Nothing was impossible for her.

After our church service, people would gather by this window to receive prayer from the elders.

Once Lost, Now Found

I once was lost but now am found.

This window is dedicated to Uriah (Hugh) Thomas.

Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase,” Martin Luther King Jr

Mr. Thomas was a man of humble birth who served others wholly and compassionately.

He was one of the founding members and an elder, but the title he aspired to was Child of God.

The stained glass windows were designed by Sue Obata and created by Sattler’s Stained Glass Studio.

Let the Little Children

“Suffer the little children to come unto me” Luke 18:16

This window is dedicated by Sandra Smith to her parents, George and Jean Donaldson.

Her father was the church organist and her fondest memory of him was that he was great with children.

Healing

“God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” Psalm 73:26

This window is dedicated by Gill Trout to her husband Bob.

Bob was on the Board of Managers.

Bob was larger than life and loved to laugh. He endured multiple illnesses with grace, strength, courage, and good humour.

Follow Me!

“Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men” Mark 4:19

This window was dedicated by Dorothy Thomson to her family.

Dorothy was the parish nurse and an elder. Her family came from a small fishing village in Scotland.
